Insurance Question

I am an employee of a school system. I have learned that any type of bariatric surgery is a written exclusion with State Merit. Does anybody know anything about how the Blue Choice HMO pays and of any surgeons that accept that insurance? I'm desperate for advice. Thanks! Robin

hi robin, i have bcbs hmo and i know that dr.duncan in atlanta takes it and you shouldnt owe anything but copay or out patient charge from what i was told by his office.... kiwani
