Dr. Duncan's "deposit"

I just wanted to clear this issue up. At least what I was told by their office. I called today to re-assure myself that I did not have to have a deposit. I have read all sorts of posts saying that Dr. D requires one, but I was not told by the office I had to. The reason is because my insurance will cover 100% after the co-pay. If your insurance doesn't cover 100%, then they require you to pay the difference or at least some amount. The reason is because people think that their insurance will pay everything and then when they get a bill in the mail, they figure they don't have to pay the doctor because the insurance will. That is not so. So, it is best that you make ABSOLUTELY sure what your insurance will pay.
