any one with BMI 80.5

Hi Sarah, I have a bmi of 69 and I am at 403 My WLS is scheduled for 12/12/03 and I am supposed to get down as close as I can to 348. Needless to say I probably wont, but I am doing my darndest. I wanted to tell you that you are not alone in the super super morbidly obese department, and let you know there is hope. Hang in there. Donna B.

I too have a high BMI. Mine was 69.6. I weighed 418 before my surgery. I had my surgery on 9/18/03 with Dr. Champion at Emory Dunwoody. I am down 46 lbs and at 372 with a bmi of 62. I am feeling better and it is worth it! Hang in there and think positive thoughts. You are NOT alone as Donna B. says. We are all in the same boat so to speak. Susan Duggan
