Georgia Amerigroup?

Anyone have amerigroup ? I do, and I am in process of doing all my pre op tests ( will be done the 30th of this month)...The woman who schedules the surgeries etc, told me the insurance company has 30 days to approve you...anybody have experience with amerigroup? Does it REALLY take that long?
