Looks like no one comes to this board anymore, but if you'd like to chat I'm here starting back on my journey

Any help and support is appreciated.  I am so excited to continue my weight loss journey.  No one understand what we go through unless they've been there.  I have lost about 60lbs in the last 5 months in my change of life-style.  I want so much to be successful and am trying to start everything before my tool.  I was, however, given authorization last week from my insurance, Yay!! and have an EGD scheduled in 10 days.  I haven't been given a surgery date yet though.

I'm planning on having the DS with Dr. Blaney in Augusta.  I think this is the best for me with my BMI and opportunities or less weight gain.  Also, my mom had an RNY and watching her with her dumping syndrome makes me not want to have to go through that.  Her teeth are ruined from vomiting and other things of the like.  It's great she has maintained but at a price I am not comfortable paying.  Know what I mean?

YES I do and Dr. Blaney must be new bc GA only had 2 surgeins who performed the DS when I had mine in 2010. DS was the best choice for me as well. U can email me anytime [email protected]
