Kaiser Permanente Multi Choice (Allows PHCS)
Hi everyone,
This is my first time posting on the GA board. I have a question about insurance to see if anyone in GA has worked with this plan. I found out that it's 99% likely my company is going to switch insurances to Kaiser Permanente Multi Choice. This is apparently a 3 tiered program. Tier 1 = KP docs and services, Tier 2 = PPO Providers (PHCS network), Tier 3 = All other providers.
Has anyone heard of this plan or have/had it?
I'm trying to look up details as far as weight loss surgery coverage and I can't find ANY details (include vs excluded). I know KP is a bear to deal with for any weight loss surgeries but if I could go through tier 2 and use the PHCS network I've heard fairly good things about this and the surgeon I'm thinking of using is "in network" with PHCS...
Any help is greatly appreciated!!
