anything about Emory hospital if you had your surgery there? I posted about this in another forum because I didn't even think about coming here first. I'm looking to get the VSG and I would love to hear what others have to say about the surgeons and care in general.

I had my surgery there...no problem... clean and efficient. Who is your surgeon? The only problem was the weekend nite shift nurses weren't the greatest...but then again that alone would not deter me and I wouldn't change  a thing

Good Luck

Great hospital and staff.

I had surgery at Emory and also was on the Bariatric unit at Northside Perimeter for a week a few weeks after surgery.  I found Emory to be just as good Northside.  I think their after care is great.

Which part of Emory are you talking about?  Midtown and John's Creek are great.  My experience with the main campus was far from great.  Although it was several years ago, I was not at all impressed and it would never be my choice.

I had surgery at John's Creek, and was pleased with my experience there.  They have a wonderful bariatric unit, and were  extremely accommodating.

I was speaking about the main hospital. Wow Walterswife, sorry for your experience. I may have to change over to John's Creek because it seems as though that's where everyone chooses to have their surgery. I knew nothing about either one of them. Thanks for your input everyone.
