Now back to work...

We have enjoyed the snow and ice. (No, really, I have) I have not been out of my jammies but once in 6 days!  Back to work on Tuesday. It has been weird not following my normal schedule in regard to eating, vitamin intake and water. I find myself not drinking enough or taking vitamins as regularly as I do when at work. I have eaten things (more carbs) that I normally don't eat.

Has anyone else noticed these things happening when one is confined to the house and off the regular schedule or is it just me?

One good thing is that I have been at a stable weight (135) for 6 weeks now. I am very comfortable here and hope to never weigh over 140 again! I only wish my face would fill out a little.

Yep, same here. My vitamin schedule has been about three hours behind every day because I've been sleeping in, but I've done really well with getting protein up and carbs down. I ate out three days in a row just before the snow arrived---Ruby Tuesday, Ru Sans sushi buffet, and KFC. Wow that did a number on my guts, so I've been really good during this week of home confinement.

Mine either, girlfriend. I had nine fried hotwings dipped in ranch sauce. They went in as a solid and came out in a much different form.

My scale read 158 this morning!

Worth day after KFC potty breaks?

                                                                   YEP

Eating 9 wings AND ranch and still losing weight

                                                         PRICELESS

Rolanda, remember when you were early out and were struggling to get down 1 egg, and I told you, you would be scarfing down a 10 piece or a  McDouble meal pretty soon. Seemed unbelievable at the time huh?

That's what's awesome about DS, that you  can eat like a normal person, and still be thin. Even, indulge in sinful fatty, sugary food in moderation.

I just still don't get how a vsg would keep the weight off because we can eat SO MUCH volume?
Must be some serious dieting going on for vsg to work?  I would so break a vsg in like a quick minute because I have 0 willpower.

BTW your DS get's less sensitive as you are further out.  I find I have to add extra butter, mayo, oil into my diet now just to keep things flowing.

                                                        I LOOOOVE MY DS

I still don't get why anybody would want any other wls?  Just seems like such a no brainer.

Wow. I can't imagine eating 10 of anything! I can eat some of anything. I have had no problems with any food as long as I chew thoroughly, even sugar, if I keep it under 20 grams, but I can still only eat about 1/2 cup at a time. My hubby says it makes for a cheap date! Good news is that my weight has been holding steady now for 6 weeks! Yea!
