What to expect at Emory at Johns Creek?
My RNY with Dr. Johnson is on Sept 13. My preop appt is this Wednesday. I wanted to ask if we have single rooms or do we share? Is there a DVD player? Internet WiFi? Just wander this silly little questions so I can prepare my husband as well for the experience. Any other things I should expect there?
Clean and modern facilities, and above all very quiet. Not sure about wifi as I reall didn't care after surgery. Pre-op is private rooms mine even had TV.

Beautiful hospital and great caring staff. I was treated like a queen while I was there and they let you take their robe home with you. Its extremely large now but I love it and wear it often. Have no idea about wifi but I'd guess yes since the hospital is very modern. Your in good hands! Dr Johnson is a great surgeon!
Wishing you all the best!! You'll do great. See you on the other side!

The next P.O.P’s (Pre-Op Pearls) class will be held in the Frist Conference Room, Suite 109 of the Physician’s Plaza (at the Hospital) Saturday, September 11th at 10:30 am, registration is not required. That's where they take you on a tour of the Bariatric Center and tell you all there is to tell about having a surgery there. You can call Lynne Winne the Bariatric Coordinator for more info 678-474-8222. My husband and I are going just so we can get all our questions answered and get a lay of the land before our big days.
