No Clue

Hi Audra,
I had RNY and took 1 1/2 weeks off.  I could have gone back sooner, but I had surgery out of town and had to stay close to the surgeon for 1 1/2 weeks.  I have a desk job and my boss knew I had surgery and worked very well with me. 

I saw two surgeons for consultations both recommended RNY due to Type 2 Diabetes and would not recommend lapband for me.  I am very happy with my decision.

I was out of work for three weeks.  I could have gone back sooner but like Tiff said I didn't have any energy.  I would say after the third week I started feeling a little better. Also, research the sleeve, it's what I have and I absolutely love it.

Thank you all for your words of experience and encouragement.  I think you have helped me see another point of view.  I found a great deal of information on the revision forum and appreciate your guidance to that area.  Thanks again!
