Hey Yall'
Thanks to everyone who called me, sent encouraging messages, thought of me, prayed for me and gave me great advice. Surgery was one week ago, and everything went really well. I was released from the hospital on Saturday evening, and have been recovering at my mommy's house :):).
I was initially VERY, VERY nauseous, until Dr Hart (my surgeon's partner, who was on call on Saturday) realized that I was allergic to the pain meds that were administered via my IV, and they were the culprit which made me VERY, VERY, VERY, NAUSEOUS. Once I got new pain meds, the oral nausea meds helped me to finally have some peace.
I have just had to make a concentrated effort to sip, sip, sip, as everyone feared that I would dehydrate if I did not.
Today I feel GOOOD...... I am not sore, and my incisions are healing nicely. I am staying hydrated, and trying to get these AWFUL protein shakes down.
PS---- Lost 14lbs from day of surgery as of this morning:):):) YAAAAAA
