There was a 14 week waiting period, but the date is finally here! I'll be heading to Nashville later today for Surgery first thing Tuesday morning.

Rolanda,

        It's been a long time, and I know you must be so happy it's finally here! I admire your bravery, canceling your rny surgery a week before you were supposed to go in the OR because you knew in your heart the DS was a better option for you. Not many people have the courage to do that so late in the game.

        I know that you have chosen the BEST DS surgeon in the area! Dr. Houston and the Centennial Medical Center staff will take good care of you.

       Please do not hesitate to call on me, or any of your other Switch Sisters if you need us. We are all here to support you through this.

        Try to get plenty of rest tonight and have a safe trip up to Nashville.

Doing great and only 2 lbs from my personal goal. The least I have weighed since jr. high school, 47 years ago. I am a happy camper. I see you are doing well also.
