Moving to GA SOON!

I have been in Michgain my entire life - have lived in the same city for 45 of my 46 years.  My husband got a new job and we are uprooting to GA.  Somehwere near Lawrenceville.

I just had my surgery (RNY) in April.  I am hoping to find a surgeon that will take me on for follow ups and what not.  AND I am hoping to find a support group.

Any suggestions???

See if your current doctor can refer you to one in GA.

I asked him at my appointment last Thursday and he didn't know of anyone.  He told me to come to the board here and ask.  LMAO!   So here I am!

Gads, I complain about the heat here in Michigan I don't know how I am going to cope with it down there.

See if your husband's new insurance company can help...

I'm from South Georgia so I don't know any around Lawrenceville.  I used Dr. Scott in Rome, but I don't know if he takes transfers.

Thanks, Linda!   Rome looks pretty far from the Atlanta area.  I am hoping to find someone somewhat close to where I'll be (not sure where that is EXACTLY - going house hunting when my kids get out of school here).
