Caribbean Festival Weekend

I'll be there not to sure if there are any other Caribbean folk on the board or those who party like they are from the Caribbean. Just thought i would share the info. I am gonna sleep good this week bc I am partying from Thursday to Monday!

Not caribbean BUT... always up for a good caribbean festival.... Have been to many in Barbados,St.Lucia, virgin islands....

but we will be away this weekend

That is the beauty of it, u don't have to be from the Caribbean to enjoy a good jump up...There is always next year. Enjoy your trip.

Maybe I'll get out and make this.  Will help with my cruise withdrawals.

I've been  here 10 years and have never been.  I do intend to go this year, which events do you recommend?

Send me your email address and I will send u a list of the different events. I know for sure I am going to the wear white party on Sunday. I am thinking I will go to the Atrium on Friday not 100% sure yet. I just found out there is a free Carnival in Dekalb county organized by Trini so I may go there instead of the Big downtown carnival as that one is like $10.00 and I rather spend money on the parties. I have been here 10 years as well and only been once, I was like I am going this year, I need to be rejuvenated with a little piece of my culture I am missing it so much living here in GA.

Ahari, I went to the Festival on Saturday and had a GREAT time.  My kids did not want to leave!!!  Thanks for letting me know about this. 

Your welcome, I glad u enjoyed it. I am just waking up had a blast at the white party last night. The weekend is over and I have to get ack to regular life...lol
