Kids are so resillient, I wouldn't be at all surprised if she didn't spend an entire 12 weeks in that wheelchair. My Husband (a crusty old Airborne Soldier) couldn't stay off his knee after having the same procedure your granddaughter will have... he was up and at em in less than a month.

You have my thoughts and prayers. If I know little girls of 10,it won't take her long to figure out how to work her "short leash" to her advantage for a lot of pampering and special attention.
