Looking for group
I live above Albany and don't know of any groups in my area. Dr. Carden in Albany had talked of forming a group, but to my knowledge he has not done this.
There are only a few doctors in the area that do WLS and they only do lapband that I know of. My understanding is that their support groups are geared to lapband. That would be Dr. Bagnato and Dr. Smith in Albany.
If you hear of something, let me know. My group is 4 hours away and that makes it almost impossible for me to attend.

How far are you from Savannah? There is a meet n greet in Savannah April 23-24. I am making a road trip with some other OH friends. Can you come?

I live 3 hours from Savannah thats where I had my surgery. I have to make my trips count when I do go for my checkups. I wouldn't mind coming to meetings if they weren't so far away.
I wish I knew some people that would want to do a meetup but I have other health problems that kind of put the breaks on me trying to organize one. I wished I could.
