I am approved and have a date!!!

I was approved last Thursday!   I am having RNY with Dr. Macik on Dec. 11th!!! Yippeee!  I am sooo excited!

Thanks to Talksoup and LaShelle for all your posts and for working hard to get WLS for SHBP. I found this site last year.  I wouldn't have know about the WLS coverage, and what insurance to get, without you all.

Thanks to Meryl for suggesting in her post (last month) for me to hurry up and make my clearance appointments. I took her advice and had all my appointments last week and I am all clear.

I start my 2 week pre-op diet this Friday.  So, my last supper will be Thanksgiving. 

Congrats on your surgery date!!!!   Can't wait to see you on the losers bench!

Let me know how you do on the preop diet. I started mine a few days ago and am doing well. I'm 10 days away from surgery now!! 

Thanks.  I start my diet on Friday...I am kind of glad to do a pre-op diet. You know Dr. Macik has that rule not to gain any weight before the surgery!  10 days is right around the corner.  Good luck!
