Yes! I had an 8 oz glass of Birthday Cake flavored  Whey Protein Isolate mixed with skim milk for breakfast and brunch because it takes me two hours to drink 8 ounces. I ordered 2 trial packs of protein powder for $1.99 from

http://www.tryabouttime.com/index.html

One was birthday cake and the other was chocolate mint. Being only 6 days post op, my main goal every day is to get in my water and protein. So this morning I'm looking at my sample packs and they have 25 grams of protein. Add the protein from the milk, that is 33 grams. Half of the daily requirement! (I wonder how much we can absorb at one time?)

It mixed super fast with no grit or settling on the bottom of the glass and most of all tasted like birthday cake!

Just thought I would share.

 Yummy birthday cake!

There is a lot of debate about how much someone absorbs at one time.  My doctor's office seems to be of the opinion that you really don't absorb more than about 20 grams at one time.

You are probably right. I will have to do a little more research into that one. I am still going to order some more Birthday Cake!
