Hey Yall! Yeah, I know, I'm late posting this, but I wanted to fix up my blog site first (a graphic designer is never happy with a layout... it's a curse!)

Anywhoo, I've posted pics, my review of the event, yadda yadda on my blog. Here is the direct link to the post  http://emilybrubaker.com/?p=518

Again, a big shout out to everyone I met - our WLS community friggin' rocks!

Thanks for sharing. I agree with your opinin about the 2nd speaker who had never had surgery. I think I took a litle cat nap during her session.  The spiritual references weren't offensive to me... she was just plain boring.  I did enjoy Dr. Davis and Mary Jo Rapini very much though.

And, yes some people do need to be educated on the uses of feathers and vibrators and massage oil (not moi, but some people).  Keep in mind there are a few ex-400 pound virgins in our OH family. And you get your new 200 pound body and it's like "so now what am I supposed to do? OMG! I didn't even know that was still down there? I haven't seen it in like 20 years!  "

I think Mary Jo was speaking moreso to those people, and to others who let intimacy and erotica go to the wayside as the pounds crept on.  I have always been a little vixen even at 330 pounds, so thank gawd I don't have that  issue to work through.  I can't even get the right protein concotion figured out. Imagine trying to figure out what makes my vajayjay happy too.

I guess you can't please all of 300 people, so that's why they tried to get a variety of people... Overall I was happy with the conference.  The dud speakers were just my chance to take a mental break.
