OK So i know everyone is very excited about the latest OH event but I have an off subject question.

Going months with out  being able to wear my rings I finally decided to get them sized as I figured Im starting to stable off and couldn't bare to go another min with out my rings.    I wore then for the first time in 8 months this weekend and they turned my fingers!  This has never happened before EVER!   Two of them are 10K and the other two are 14K  All but one turned my fingers!!!  Soooo my question is.. has anyone experienced this?  Does this makes since ?   Has my body chemistry changed and caused this?
Do tell.. I am soo curious if I'm in this alone !!   Pretty frustrated.. LOL

Ginger -
What do you mean by they turned your fingers?  Do you mean turned them a different color?
I wonder if they used some kind of chemical to resize them and didn't clean them well enough before giving them back to you.  Maybe you had an allergic reaction to the chemical??

Have you ever worn a cheap ring or braqcelet and it turn your skin black/green?  I cant wear cheep jerwerly because of this.  I have had 14 K do this in the past but not bad.  10K usually is best for me not sure why but it seems to not be an issue as much.  But now all of them are truning my fingers. LOL  I guess Im gonna have to go platium... :-)

Hi Ginger!  Nice to meet you at the OH event!  I have had problems for years with my gold (all 14k) rings turning my finger black.  It has to do with a chemical reaction, but not sure what causes it.  It seems to do it mostly in the winter,,,,,,,,very annoying!

Hi Ginger - Had you ever had a problem before?  I mean I know I have been wearing mine even though big - been switching fingers.  Did you do that?  I would have to wonder how the jeweler made them smaller.  Did he take gold out and then seal it back together with another chemical?

I have had alittle with 14K but not as much it would just turn it a bit right under the ringer and NEVER a problem with 10K that is why as I added to my collection I opted for 10K.  This has my entire finger from knuckle down turned.  Which is crazy.   I did switch fingers as they got loose but finally nothing fit anywhere... ahh what a great feeling!  I just thought with our bodies changing that may be a factor and had wondered if anyone else had experienced it.    Ahh the price we have to pay to be thin!!  LOL

I have this problem myself. I was told it was due to the bodies new chemical make up. It does not happen all the time, but only when I don't get all my vites and minerals.

A casual stroll through the lunatic asylum shows that faith does not prove anything.
