I feel honored to be ask to be in the fashion show.  I'm so excited and have spent hours with help from friend choosing the right outfit!  Im going outside my box ladies and gentleman and a bit nervous but oh so excited!! 

What are you looking forward to most at the conference?  Being with friends and others that understand where Ive been and where I'm going!!

What are you loking forward to most at the conference? Meeting everyone. Learning more about becoming and staying healthy and just the fellowship of other people that have gone through the same thing that I have!!!  Can't wait to meet you all

Have you purchased a ticket already?  How much did you pay for it?   I have not purchased tickets yet....yes, I know I am waiting till the last damn minute, but things are still up in the air about Don (LostTxn) being here for Conference....his surgery followup appt is November 4th, and he has a dental followup appt is November 19th...we are going to discuss all of this this coming weekend when I am in Texas seeing him....HOT DAMN!!!

I'll be there at the Marriot to check out the sessions I missed in NY.  I had such a blast in Rye that I'm doing it twice. 

It seems like I have not posted in forever. I have drifted away from the board over the yrs, trying to find my way back again. I am excited to see so many new people around and wish everyone the best of luck on their journey. Mine has been a very rewarding one to say the least.
I am so looking forward to attending this conference and reconnecting with others who are on this same journey.
A friend of mine (Brigette) and myself will be making the trip up for the conference. We both look forward to meeting you all......See you all in a week.

Are you coming out for the OH conference?  I want to.  It all depends on how I am feeling.  I am still having post hernia repair issues as well as dealing with a walking boot for Plantar Fasciitis.


Who is coming with you?  I would be by myself if I make it.

Are you volunteering at the conference? Fashion show, clothes swap, registration table, etc?  I am supposed to be in the fashion show.  With a walking boot on my foot, I am still unsure about it.


What are you loking forward to most at the conference?   I really am just looking forward to meeting people and sharing my experience as a long term post op.  I have done a lot since having surgery and want to share my positive experiences with people.

Who is coming with you?  My Mom.  She has been a big supporter of my journey.


Are you spending the night? Which hotel?  How much was your room?  Yes.  Marriott.  Got a great rate through Marriott's website when they had a special - $72/night.


Are you volunteering at the conference? Fashion show, clothes swap, registration table, etc?  I'm bringing bags of clothes for the clothing exchange and will be in the fashion show.  Getting a little nervous about the show though.  Hope I don't trip.


What are you loking forward to most at the conference?  This is my first OH conference so I'm looking forward to everything - meeting new people, the speakers, and just plain having FUN!!!
