Looking 4 support groups in Gwinett county??????
I just finished my 6 month support requirement for UHC at Emory -John's Creek. I Live in Gwinnett as well. If you live in the Norcross, Duluth, Suwanee area or there-abouts it is super easy to get to.
The support groups there are awesome!
ETA: There is a Lap Band group on the last Tuesday there and another Bypass group on the third Wednesday of the month (in addition to the Saturday support in previous post).

My surgeons office has one every Tuesday at 7:00pm in Gainesville. It's probably 30-45 minutes or so from you (depending on which part of L'Ville you're in). Straight up 985 to exit 24, the hospital (which is where they hold most of the meetings) is right by the highway.
Here's the meeting calendar:

Let me know if you want someone to go with. I need to go more often!
They also hold one the first Saturday morning of every month.

Now I feel like a jerk. I called them because I wasn't sure... they said it was only for their patients. That's pretty crappy. Seems like if they were really interested in supporting the WLS community, they'd welcome all patients. They have a large enough space to accomodate... and it's not like they furnish food or anything.
