low fat cream soup
I am home from the hospital and doing ok. I was reading over my packet of information (again) and during week 2 I can have "low fat cream soup". I saw a lot of recipes by just seaching the internet, but I was wondering if there was any "over the counter" soups that would do. My little book from the doctor's office just said no chunks. I'd appreciate any info!
Thanks.

I loved the Campbells Condensed cream of chicken and mushroom soup post op. The one with chicken and mushroom together.
You can blend it a few pulses to get the chunks out.
You can just put any can of soup in the blender and strain out any big clumps. I pick out the noodles in mine even now to cut out some of the carbs.
I also loved egg drop soup post op, and I zapped it in the blender a few seconds to break up the eggs.
If you are a good patient, you'll put some unflavored unjury or powdered milk to boost the protein level in your soups.
