Today is my six months surgiversary..... I can't believe it ! I am down 82 pnds and am 50 pnds away from goal. I remember the nurse telling me I would loose 70 pnds in six months and thinking she was nuts.... but I beat that goal.

I can now walk 3 miles and not hurt, whine, moan or ***** like I use to. And on Friday I bought a Anne Klein ****tail dress Size 16 !!!!!!!!

My husband is now dieting and walking with me. That's another story in of itself,,,,, a co worker had a stroke at his office and died. He was wheeled out right past my husband, already dead with his eyes open....!

AnyWho..... I m just thrilled and am looking forward to my first post op cruise......We leave Oct 3st

Wow 82 pounds! You'll be in the 100 pound club by the end of next month.  I'm so proud of you.

You are so lucky to be going on a cruise. I am trying to squeeze one in for Thanksgiving. My last cruise in April I was so fat all I wanted to do was sit around the pool and sleep. It will be nice doing it again with all this weight off.

Take lots of pics and post them please!  Have fun and sip a margarita for me!

Congrats on your 6-month loss!  You are doing great!  Sorry I haven't responded to your last message to me.  I just got back (one week ago) from my first post-op cruise and I had a blast.  I did really well with all of the food in my face 24 hours a day.  I found out that I could make good, healthy choices and still not feel deprived.  I also made a point to work out at least 3 out of the 6 days.  That helped a lot.  Anyway, have a great time and I'll check in with ya when you return.

Congratulations!  You have done so well.  I saw Dr. Macik in a tuxedo and his nurse at the Northside Hospital Affair Saturday night.  It was really fun.  Did you have your sugery at Northside?
