Anyone Familiar with True Results???
yes i have.ive already had my lapband ,but i went to the wl sem.for dr dunkin with a co-worker who is seeking the lapband,and now that team of true results is assisting all dr.dunkins new bandsters with the begining and for all followups after wls.i did speak with after the program was over and it seems like a great new way they have choosen to assist with post op.much needed services even for the old bandsters
I am currently going through True Results for the LapBand surgery and they are great. Everyone is so professional and respectful. They help us with everything needed to get our insurance approved from getting our medical histories and referring us for special services that are needed for approval.
Doctor Duncan comes highly recommended by many. He is a professional at what he does plus he is a plastic surgeon who will do whatever it takes to keep scarring to a minimum. Many bariatric patients go to him years after to get plastic surgery to remove all the access skin left behind after bariatric surgery.
Dr. Duncan does all of the bariatric surgeries, but if you go with True Results, they only work with the LapBand.
True Results requires that you have an endoscopy, an evaluation with a nutritionist, and a sleep study to test for sleep apnea. This is TR's requirement, nthing to do with what insurance requires. I've already had my tests done and am waiting on insurance approval.
True Results provides all of the follow-up care and fills, plus they also offer support groups.
