Has Anyone used Emory Bariatrics?

Thanks to everyone for your input.  It is all very helpful.

I was really looking at Emory Bariatrics in Atlanta and any of those doctors; Dr. Lin, Dr. Sweeney, etc.  I am scheduled for the October info session but I am trying to get into the one they have this week if possible.

I had surgery at Emory Bariatrics.  Dr. Lin was my doctor.  I had a good experience.  If you have any questions just let me know. 

i had gastric bypass at Emory on March 8, 2011 my doctors name is Dr. Scott Davis, he is the best, its been 10 months and 2 weeks, i have lost 97 pounds. starting weight was 318, i now weigh 220. Everbody was great to me at Emory.

Dr. Scott Davis was one of my coworkers doctor, she had the lap band surgery.  She sings praises of him.  As far as I know she haven't had any problems and is still losing weight.

I had my surgery through Emory Bariatrics. Dr. Lin was my surgeon for my gastric bypass. My sister is a surgery resident at Emory and she has worked with Dr. Lin in the operating room and highly recommended him. I work in healthcare too - I'm an x-ray tech, and I know drs. can act one way with their patients and another way behind closed doors. It meant a lot to me that my sister respects Dr. Lin so much.
I just went to my first support group meeting last night. I live pretty far away from Emory, so I haven't been to one of their group meetings before. Dr. Lin was there - he recognized/remembered me immediately, and it's been almost 6 mos. since my surgery. He was genuinely happy to see me and see my progress first hand. What a great feeling!
