Hey there to all my OH - most of whom don't know me. My RNY surgery date is scheduled for 9/9/09. Most who do know me have no idea of my journey. I want to stay focused on positive things so I have chosen to keep my lips zips.  I know my OH peeps DO understand my journey. See ya'll on the loser's side. and wish me luck!!

Take Care,

Thanks! I can't wait either. I feel like a nesting pregnant woman. Been cleaning up everything. Instead of bringing a new baby home, I'll be bringing a brand new ME home. YAY!!!!!

We'll definitely have to catch up after our surgery to compare notes. I was advised I would be released on Friday, 9/11, if all goes well on Wednesday, 9/9.

Unfortunately, I have a bone spur on my right foot (heel). During my consult with the surgeon next week, I'm going to ask if I can get a cortisone shot during surgery. I want to ensure I'm able to get up and walk around as soon as possible. With this bone spur my foot tends swell and I limp alot....especially in the morning and everning when it's the worst. It's painful...all day...every day. Ouch.
