Strange

Okay I just have to share this because it was the strangest feeling. I took a step class tonight and at the end of the class we did ab work. I was doing my cruches and at the end we stretched. And then...my stomach muscle near, or maybe at where my port is cramped up. It was so tight and sore I thought I was not going to be able to move. It only lasted about a minute, and now is just sore. It was just so strange. I had to share because if anyone would understand it would be you all.

I have never in my life had a stomach muscle cramp up (well none that I can remember) For a minute I thought my port was going crazy. Oh well now it is just sore. Well off to walk the dogs then do more stretches to the ab area! Gotta get ready for  Body Pump tomorrow night!!

Have a good night

Heather when I started my Step Abs, I kinda had the same feeling.  I called my Dr. the next day, and they said just to lay off for a few days and let those muscles relax back to normal.  So now I know how far I can stretch, and how much I can do at one time.

Take it easy for a day or so, and call your surgeon and see what they tell you.

If you need me call me.

Thanks Deborah! I actually have been doing abs for a while but it was the stretch for my legs that got me. The one where you are laying down and put one leg on the other and pull. I must have pulled funny it did scare me at first though. I laid off for a few days so far so good. When we went boating Saturday I felt it I think from the jet ski and bumps.

Thanks for all the support :-)
