I need a doctor recommendation

Just a question here:  Have you checked out the duodenal switch?  Some people find this a more effective and livable alternative to RNY.  If you can, check out the DS forum just to educate yourself. 

If you are interested int he procedure, Dr. Maynard in Altlanta is a good choice.  He calls himself a "belt and suspenders man," meaning he's very thorough.  My initial consultation with him took more than an hour; that's a lot of time with a surgeon.

Actually that is exactly what I decided upon and he is the doctor I decided about also.  Thanks for your help and yes I think the DS is a better fit for me.  I've been researching it and I'm really excited.
