surgery date change

Someone called me from Peachtree Bariatrics today.  They changed my surgery date.  It was scheduled for Sept 23rd.  Now it is October 5th!  Seems like I have read several times on this message board that  dates are changed.  Is is really that common?  Why would they have to change my date?  I wanted to CRY!!  But it still this year, so I guess that is better than not having it at all this year.

All I can say is "I'm sorry!" Things always work out for the best. Keep thinking positive and it will be here before you know it!

I know exectly how you feel. Mine was changed from Aug 21 to Sept 1 so I really understand. What helped me was to look at it this way its only a 11 day difference it could have been longer. Also when I looked at the international forum some of those pts where scheduled for surgery in late 2010 and 2011 now thats a long wait.
