Update on gastric problems

I posted this on the DS forum, but thought I would put it here too.  I don't know if you all remember, but I have had a lot of problems since surgery.  I have been nauseated and vomiting all along.  Nobody on the DS board has done this as long as me!  I lost 20 lbs. last month and that is way too much.  I've been back and forth to the gastro doc for months.  Here is the latest....

I had yet another endoscopy procedure today.  For a little background, I am still experiencing nausea and vomiting at 10 months out.  I can barely eat anything.  The doc thinks he may have found my problem!!!!  I have an indention in my stomach that is not suppose to be there and he thinks it may be acting like a flap to trap food.  Tomorrow I have an upper GI.  Once all of these test results are in he will send it to my surgeon and see where to go from there.  I am so happy that he found something!  I can't wait to eat like you all talk about.  I want a pound of bacon like Lori!  This past month I lost 20 lbs.  While I am glad to get closer to my goal I am losing way to fast!  My body looks like a deflated balloon!  Swing those chickens for the doctors to find and fix my problem!

Thanks Deborah......I am posting another update from today's GI series.

I am so glad they have FINALLY found the culprit. So, how will they fix it?  I know you hate having to go back for another surgery, but won't it be great to get some relief?   I am swinging chickens for you.  I pray they get you back to normal. You have suffered with this way too long.



         

I love your swinging chickens!!  I will probably have to have some kind of surgery but..............bring it on!  I am tired of this!  I am posting another update today about today's GI series.  Are you doing good?  I am so glad you finally got switched!

I'm still hanging in there.  I spent the night in the ER because I was dehydrated. I had 3 bags of fluid.  I will take that as a lesson to sip, sip, sip. I thought I was gonna die.  What a horrible experience.  I feel much better today though.

Wow!  I am glad you feel better!  I thought I was getting dehydrated for a while.  One doc thought that was why I was so sick.  Keep sipping!
