update

Hello,
    Went to see the surgeon that preformed my appendectomy today. He was rough and uncaring as usual. I am so happy today was my last visit. He doesn't know that, but I've decided not to go back to his office again. Now for the good news. I went to the wound care center today and had a great experience. The nurses were nice, the doctor was gentle and compassionate. I will be placed on wound vac to help the healing process.  Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers.

wound vacs are wonderful tools for wound healing, I am a home care nurse and use them quite often....
kudos to you for not going back to the uncaring doc!  healing vibes,

Glad you are recovering. Mean docs are the pits. I had one when I had a bad ear infection and refused to go back to him!

Good for you!  Most patients will just take it.  You have to remember...you seek them out and pay them...in a sense..they work for you. 

If you don't understand something they say..tell them to say it in words you understand. 

If you don't like how they treat you...you don't have to go back to them.  It's their loss, not yours.
