plastic surgery in georgia (edited)
has anyone out there found a plastic surgeon who will bill your insurance without asking for any up front money? everyone i have been to wants around 5000.00 up front no matter what. my insurance will not reimburse me only the dr. and i dont trust not one of them to give me my money back because it seems like all they are in it for is the money. my insurance covers a complete tummy tuck but no one believes me, so if you have had any luck please let me know. i have been researching benadette wang-asraf. i have heard she is wonderful and will help try to get insurance approval. i just dont have that kind of money up front. insurance told me they would pay everthing but 262. that i owe out of pocket. after that they pay 100% . any help is greatly appreciated.
I had a consult with Dr. Ashraf about 2 weeks ago and she was really nice. Seemed to really have it together and was more than willing to work with insurance. Her prices were high to me but if your insurance is willing to pay it could be a good option.
Oh, if you go there, make sure you get good directions. It's a confusing area and I got really lost!
Good luck with it all.

I initially went to Dr Ashraf Wang...and IMO I felt as if I was being
'rushed' the entire time I was there....and when you do not have insurance coverage for reconstructive surgery, and having to pay out of pocket for it all, that is the last thing you want to feel... Because I do not want my PS to be 'rushed' when doing my surgery.
I ended up going to Dr Philip Nakano in Duluth, and he has now done BL/BA, Lower Body Lift, and several facial plastic surgeries. He does not 'double book', and you get to have plenty of time in discussing your surgeries.
You get what you pay for...
