Are they any surgeons in Atlanta that do revisions of the RNY

Does anyone know of a doctor in Atlanta does a revision to an RNY?   I am looking into going from a proximal RNY To a Distal RNY.

I would suggest checking with Dr. Dennis Smith in Marietta. Also, please look into revisions to duodenal switch, as well. If you are going under the knife a 2nd time, this surgery has better long term outcomes. Good luck!

I would suggest you check with Dr. Celio Burrowes.  He is a great surgeon and he did my revision from vertical banding gastroplasty to RNY in March.  He also does the Fobi pouch which I have.  I have lost 82 lbs in 4 1/2 months, feel great, and have tons of energy!

I am looking to have the same revision on October 15th.  I am using Dr. Michael Williams and Dr. Amed Khan at Emory John's Creek.  They had me approved within 2 weeks after submitting the paperwork. 

Dr. Williams did an endoscopy to look at my surgery first and it went from there.

Do you mind if I ask what insurance you have? I have a self paid product from Aetna and I wonder if it would cover me or not.   When did you initially have your first surgery?
