Okay everyone, It has been 3 years since I had my surgery 5/26/2006. Most recently I have found that I have reactions to every little thing; my skin has become very sensitive. I broke out in a rash about 5 weeks ago and saw my PCP and was told to put this creme on it; well after 2 weeks it did not work so I chose to see my dermatologist who in a nutshell told me she did not know what it was and wasnt to do a biospy (which I thought was crazy because they look like tiny little white bumps that are normally seen when when someone has had an allergic reaction). In addition, my hair still has not thicken up as a matter of fact, it is breaking off severely and I have gained 11 lbs in the past 3 months since I started a new BC. Has anyone had any of these experiences? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know what BC stands for, but 11 lbs in three months sounds metabolic to me, not wls related.  Been there too many times, bu I don't claim to be an expert.  Metabolism related weight gain can be caused by meds like steroids or lyrica or adrenal gland abnormalities like cushings.

Have you had your complete post op labs checked?  This may be a good place to start.

Check out the site wrongdiagnosis.com.  It has a sympton checker that you can use to research what you're experiencing and get enough information to have a discussion with your doctor or perhaps to learn what type of specialist to consult.

Good luck to you.
