I am a self-pay who was five years out on June 2nd. I have had a lack of restriction this summer and have experienced reflux....I am terrified about slippage and erosion. Am reading lots of forums to find out about symptoms (not on obesity help, others) and am reading horror stories! How do you know if you have slippage? Erosion? Is it true most of us will have to have our Bands removed???? It was a lot of money for this surgery and I really don't want to have to do it AGAIN!
I wish I could help, but I am not a band expert. I reccomend posting your question on the band board. You should see a doctor, so you will know what you're dealing with. It may not be as bad as it seems.

You really need to contact your surgeon. There are test they can do to see what is going on. Perhaps it is nothing, you will feel better if you know.
