Me and the Cheetos

Last night I went to Walgreens to get a script filled. Post op advice, don't go to the store. No store is safe. Just keep your tail at home and send somebody else!

Do you know how much food they have at Walgreens?  Peanuts, dried apricots, candy bars, cookies, chips.  There is food at the end of every aisle.  I realized at that moment I am officialy tired of the liquid diet.

When I got to the Cheetos, I shed an official tear!

I thought just 1 cheeto couldn't kill me right? I could lick off the salty powdery cheese really slow and nibble it down to a real creamy mush. Hell I could even spit it out. Would that count? Do I even like Cheetos?

At the verge of a meltdown in Walgreens, some divine force moved me to the bandaid aisle. Those Cheetos haunted me all night though!

I can just imagime myself being arrested for having a mental breakdown in Walgreens at the Cheeto Display!  I probably woulda made the weird news blotter in Creative Loafing.

LaShelle,
Good for you. You know I had to stop going into Walgreens and CVS just for that reason. I thought it was just me but boy do they stock the isles with junk foods of all kinds. So many times I have been on my way home and have had to talk myself into going through the drive thru instead of walking in to pick up my prescription because I know I will be tempted...LOL

The one time I shed a tear was over spagetti. I had just had a fill and was on liquids for 48 hours because of the troubles I had. My 16 year old sister called me to tell me that the family was going to get Italian, my favorite, with just having the fill there would have been nothing I could get. I was so hungry from being on the liquids that I sat home and cried...I laugh now thinking about it...
