Clothes exchange anywhere local?

Has anyone had luck with Consignment shops..... ? I'm just getting my 20-22's together for one. I need 18's and it would be great to get the $ for my old clothes to get new ones....

We have a clothing exchange semi annually at our support group meetings.  The next one will be November 3rd from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. You bring clothes you have lost out of and take smaller ones.....mark it on your calendar!

Also at the OH conference November 6 & 7 there will be a clothing exchange on Friday November 6th Deborah T. is heading it up.  

Clothing exchanges are a wonderful way to get "new to you clothes" and save a lot of money!!!

I have taken tons of nice things to consignment shops.  I have bought most of my clothes from Talbots which is not cheap.  I have made next to nothing at the consignment shops.   I had a $200 jacket which I made $15 on.  They are also very picky about what they will take.  I would rather give my things away.  I think I will check out the November exchange.  I started at 24 and am now 14 so I have a little of everything between those two.

I would but please tell me more -- what is the OH event and where is it?

I'm a new member, but I just wanted to say that I think a clothing exchange is a FANTASTIC idea! I can't wait until I can participate! :)
