Approved-relocated-need doctor-lapband

This is my first post online, but I have been lurking around the boards for about 2 yrs.  Started my process March with Aetna, submitted  in June and approved 10 days later.  Now i have relocated to Atlanta from Jacksonville and need to choose a doctor in Aetna Network for lap band.  Please give opinions.  Thank you.

I'm not sure if he is in the Aetna network but there is a clinic in Rome Ga.  A little ways north of atlanta.  It is called the Harbin clinic.  Dr. J. Ryland Scott.  You may want to check that out.  I just went to an info session there and I am impressed so far with the staff and Dr. Scott.

I am using Dr. Scott in Rome for my RNY 8/3/09.  He has a great staff and he is great and very thorough.  He has a PA that does the fills.  I know there are a lot of great doctors in the Atlanta area also.

I USED PEACHTREE SURGICAL AND BARIATRICS CENTER LOCATED AT AMC. THE DOCTORS NAME WAS DOCTOR HOBSON AND THEY GET YOU IN KIND OF QUICK THE NUMBER IS 404 881 8020 AND THERE ARE PLENTY OF NICE PEOPLE THERE WILLING AND READY TO HELP YOU THROUGH THIS PROCESS. I JUST HAD MY RNY SURGERY ON 
07-13-09 AND THE STAFF AND DOCTOR WAS GREAT AND GAVE CLEAR INSTRUCTION FOR POST OP WHICH HAS MADE MY JOURNEY VERY SMOOTH. IF YOU LOOK WITHIN GEORGIA FORUM YOU WILL SEE ALOT ABOUT THIS DOCTOR AND PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD SURGERY WITH HIM OR ARE IN THE PROCESS OF HAVING THIS SURGERY WITH HIM. GOOD LUCK IN WHATEVER YOUR CHOICE IS.
