I know that Dr. Michael Williams does Stomaphyx, not sure if this is the same thing.

Across the United States, in 2006, twice as many people died from lack of health insurance as died from homicide.

Schelerotherapy is used to decrease the size of the spider veins....most plastic surgeons or dermatologists will do this procedure, and it is generally not covered by insurance.  It is done in the office, and it hurts like a ***** !!!.

Yes, I have had this procedure done twice by my plastic surgeon, Dr Philip Nakano in Duluth (Peachtree Industrial Blvd near Abbott's Bridge Road).  It normally takes more than one time to remove them all...and maybe mine was a minor case compared to others, but I wanted them gone.  I have a few places that might still need to be done, but I may just wait until he does my agressive lipo on thighs to have it done (that way I dont feel a thing!!!)...like I said it hurts a bunch!!!

Sassy

It just registered with me that we are talking about two different procedures.  I am talking about Sclerotherapy.  It is used to reduce the size of the stoma for those of us who have enlarged stoma.  It lets the food pass through the pouch too fast.  We are never satisfied and always feel hurgry.  I am always hurgry, feel sick at my stomach and am gaining weight (20 lbs since my lowest weigh.)

I understand the procedure is done by injections into the stoma to create scar tissue and makes the stoma smalled.

Good luck with your vein procedure and lipo.
