Almost Home

I had surgery on Monday, July 6,and after a lot of complications, I am out. I spent a couple of days in ICU. and those are just "lost" - I don't remember any of it.. I had a massive leak that had to be repaired and then my heart rate was way too high. I am still really weak and so I am staying with my parents for a day or two to get my strength back up and be pampered before I head back home to my guys.

Hope the others who had their procedures last week did better than me! 

I a truly sorry you have had complications. I hope you are feeling better soon! Do you know what caused the leak? Dr. Macik is also my surgeon. Keep us posted.

That sounds awful...I am glad you can stay with your parents and get some help.  Good luck with your recovery.

I am so sorry you had such a hard time with the surgery.  I am

glad everything worked out in the end. A year from now when

you're 100 lbs  lighter, it'll be all worth it!


I hope you feel better soon. The kids will be ready for you in a

few weeks when school starts.  Enjoy the pamering while you

can.

I'm sorry you had complications, but am glad that you are out now and doing better.  Enjoy the pampering!!  I'm going to stay at my parents for a week or two after the surgery because it will be 4 hours from my home.  Good luck and keep us posted.  I'll be thinking about you.
