Middle Georgia Support Groups?????

Are there any support groups in or around Macon, GA?  i would really like to join one or at least have a group of people that would like to get together.  Let me know.

Several years ago when I lived in Warner Robins there was a group called LightWeights (I think) that I went to a couple of times.  I'm not sure if they still meet or not!

Hey y'all, I live in Gray, and I would love to have a support  group around Macon or Gray or even Milledgeville.  I'm on my last step (hopefully).  I have to see a pulmonary doctor.  I had the pulmonary function test, but Colleen from Dr. Ducan's office said that I have to see the doctor so they could say that I was "fit" for surgery.  But anyway...
It would be nice to meet some people in the middle ga area who have had surgery and those of us who have not had it yet, but are waiting.

I am certainly interested.  I had my initial visit with the surgeon on Monday, July 6.  He filed the paperwork Monday afternoon.  If all goes well, I will be having the lap band before Labor Day.

I had the info but it's too far for me :(     

I have found one in Forsyth.  Meets the last Thursday of the month at 6:00 PM.  All members had the lapband.  All except for one went to Dr. Bagnato.
