1st PCP diet visit?

I have my first PCP diet visit tomorrow.  I have UHC SHBP plan.  They require 6 months of physician supervised visits.  I have never seen this PCP before.  I told the appt. nurse why I was coming in...wanting WLS and what my insurance requires.   I was told that I have to just talk about my weight and diet.  To make sure it is all about my diet..get weighed etc.. Any advice?  I don't want to mess it up. 

With Cigna SHBP it did not matter if you talked about other things as long as the diet, exercise and weight is specifically discussed and documented. Call UHC and make sure, though. I was worried to death that something would trip me up, so always document everything and everyone you talk to.

I promise, it is a breeze with UHC SHBP. Just do what they ask and it will go smoothly. Took less than 48 hours after I submitted my paperwork to get an approval. Very simple and straight forward, they are not trying to trip you up.

Thanks for the responses.  I guess it hard to believe it can be easy.  My coordinator called from UHC today to give me a referral for my Pysch assessment.   She and my case nurse have been very nice.
