Cigna SHBP update
They said the plan covers unlimited in home health visits. Just get a referral from the surgeon and it shouldn't be a problem. I plan on taking advantage of this, since I am uncomfortable with the idea of changing the drain, and cleaning my incisions. Afterall, it will be free, since the surgery will put me over $2000 out of pocket.
Just a fyi for anybody else who may need this post-op.

With Dr. Macik...no drains, no catheters, no NOTHING! You'll go home with surgi-strips on your belly. Oh, and you can shower 24 hours after surgery. You'll have your own private bathroom/shower at Northside. I couldn't wait to get into the shower...I feel scuzy if I can't wash my hair every day.
