Just got off the phone with Cigna. My nurse told me you only have to have one coaching session and do the online assessment. (I have already completed that)...I was also told with the 6months support group, depending on when you started your six months supervised diet it will be waived. I started the diet in November so it will be waived, even though the support group was completed. Now I am just waiting on my doctor to re-write my clearance letter per Dr. Duncan office. So I am really close. Let's compare our answer what Cigna have been telling us

You are awesome! I thought that support group thing was a bunch of garbage anyway. I'm close too. I faxed in all my clearance letters and they called me back to tell me that I needed the letters to say these two words..."Medically Cleared", on physician letter head. She said it was them, but the insurance company. I've been working on this since Jan. Maybe I can have it done in 2009!

was told same thing.. you have to do the online health assessment too though.

good, cause otherwise, they'll deny you. have you called cigna to confirm they are showing it as being completed. i called and it took forever fot them to update the computer showing i had done it. same for the phone coaching call. just check in with them to make sure they have it all documented in case there is an error on yours too
