STINGING BURNING UNDER SKIN ON STOMACH?
aww honey, been there before, ask your self is it red, if so call your doctor or nurse right away, but if not you are just experiencing the same things we all have which is healing! it's going to be that way for quite sometime. you insides are healing, be prepared for spasms, and cramps. Do over do it! relax but get up and walk as much as you can. Remember you have the right to call your doctor anytime. they were on speed dial and I called at all times of the day even after mid-night. lol Remember if it's red and starts to get worse then you need to call, but if it's just stingy and burning sensation, then your just healing, and take it easy love. Ok
Peace paris.

I agree with the others. I had the burning sensation too. It seemed to be worse at night, so I just took my pain meds so that it wouldn't wake me up. They told me it was just part of the healing process.

I have the stinging and burning too. Right now as a matter of fact and it is quite annoying. I am two weeks post op. Mine is focused in one small area in between two incisions on the right side of the stomach. I walk holding my tummy like I am 9 months pregnant because as I walk it pulls and stings more. Yes, the doctor says it is normal but right now it feels as if it will never go away. Like prevalent or chronic. This is my last week off work. Will it just disappear one day? It seems like all who have responded here says it will go away. But when? My scars are healing and I have no fever. Is it nerves pulling on muscle?
