Well this site allows you to gift and receive items for free. Clothes, furniture, household stuff, anything.
If you need clothes or want to get rid of some, consider joining. It is free. You join a group in your zip code. Good way to get clothes as you're shrinking and you can re-gift them when you drop sizes.
They have groups everywhere even in the boonies. YOu just join th yahoo group to get access to the postings.

Freecycle is cool isn't, but I had to drop it after a bit...too many emails. I stopped the emails and go to the site when I have something to give or am looking for something. I finally got up the nerve to get rid of all my pre-op clothing (it has been almost 4 years and I was still holding on to all that crap) one thing I will say is if you decide to trade with someone meet in a public place. Not that I do not want to trust anyone, but there are some crazy people out there.

You can also get free stuff on Craigslist, but if you don't answer right away, it's usually taken or way on the other side of town. Plus it seems like peole on CL just post junk!
