I post negative things about negative surgeries! Why wouldn't I? Don't u think someone considering one of those surgeries are entitled to that knowledge??? Guess not.

Anyway...........I am thrilled for anyone who has lost the amount they want to lose and kept it off. How would u get out of what I have posted that I wouldn't b happy for those ppl???

Contrary to your opinion, I am not required to wait untill I have lost all my EW and keep it off as long as u have b4 I post! Lol.

Have a nice day.

Good afternoon Nikki,

I am scheduled to have mine done on 01/21/2011, I had RNY 6 years ago 296lbs down to 180lbs.  I now weigh 203lbs.  I would like to loose the 20lbs that I've gained this year due to anxiety medication that causes the munchies.....lol.

Please follow up with me to let me know how you're doing.  I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,

I am scheduled for this procedure on 09/14/10. I am very nervous. I had RNY gastric Bypass on 3/11/05. The morning of surgery I weighed in I think 308. As of Today I am at 175 and struggling to stay there. I'm only 5 ft so I'm still considered obeses. My Dr. suggested this because he stated that i did not need to loose a large amount of weight. My goal is 150 by the end of november, so wish me Luck!!! Oh Yeah and on a side note. Just got the approval for my Tummy Tuck Today!!! Yeah

Being one year out you always think wow I will never have any of these issues.  Well some do and some don't.  Just like RNY works for  some and not for other.  So I think this is one of those procedure's that will work for some and not other.   Once again it's a tool.  Out come is up to you base upon your attitude and work on using the tool!

Why the bed you ask.  I rather be sleeping!

Had the procedure done Monday November 21, 2011 and I'm 6 lbs down so far. Still following liquid diet at this point. Haven't been too hungry....but this has not been the easiest thing to do!!!! I say that cause the meal plan gets real boring....QUICK!!!!

You might want to check with others OUTSIDE of Dr. Duncan's office about the effectiveness of that procedure! If it worked...........don't you think more Drs. would be doing it?!

I will admit, Dr. Duncan is very personable..........however............I would hate to see you pay for a procedure that has an astronomically high failure rate!

Why don't you ask about this on the revision forum?!
