EGD with Sclerotherapy....

Anyone else tried this?  I had it done 2 days ago.... It was pain free.... and so far... I am doing well....  Just want to see if there is anyone else who has had this done recently....

I just had mine today by Dr. Duncan and feel the same way.  I am a liitle uncomfortable but am so surprised minimal pain.  I have heard so many people say this didn't work for them but honestly I feel like Dr Duncan has always said Gastric Bypass is just a tool.  I feel like this is a 2nd chance to get me back on track.   Not that I have een horrible but I am almost 4yrs out and forgot some of our rules for the rest of ourlives...you know what I mean.

I am 1 week out and feel great.  the scale is moving yeah!!!!  I have been on liquids all week and have added yogurt and pudding to the mix....  I just hope my insurance company doesnt goof me on this!!!!  Good luck to you too!!

Hi, I will undergo surgery May 26th, I wonder does one feel hunger the same way post surgery as opposed to pre-surgery when one could and would consume everything in site? :)

 Hey CJ....  I had a really bad headache right after for about 24 hours.  Not sure if it was caused by no diet coke or no food.  Once it finally went away I am good.  I dont feel hungry.  I could eat alot before my egd... but have now retrained my self and am doing well.  I eat very little and feel satisfied.  Good luck with your procedure!

 i am having my  sclerotherapy  in august 2010 after 6 months .     6 weeks  on liquide diets  how did you do it.

I am on Day 5 of the Liquid Diet...Remember!!  The Sclerotherapy is not the Gastric ByPass...it is a tool to help you jump start that weight loss and not feel hungry!
Every day has been getting better for me.
If you are determined..YOU CAN DO IT!

  thank you  i will have the proceduure August 4, 2010    I plan on takin the next day off and just rest  and drink liquids.  Have you try the vitmim water?

what insurance do u have i got medicaid.. of course it is goin 2 movin consuming liquids, what about after? i think i want the sleeve or something a lil more drastic i already have the weight lost surgery
