I know they have locations in other states, but I just wanted to share with you guys. This is my most recent OH blog......
My latest obsession....
Lunch @ Jason's Deli!! The salad bar, more specifically. Oh so heavenly, they have much more variety than the usual salad bar.... they have this bean salsa that has edamame beans, it's to die for, talk about an awesome way to get protein in your salad! Their fat free ranch dressing is absolutely divine, I swear it's the best tasting non fat ranch I've ever had. The nut/seed variety is awesome. Tip- use nuts instead of croutons! They have almond slivers, mixed spicy nuts, sunflower seeds, and a couple of other seeds I've yet to figure out what they are but they're good! They have freshly chopped bell peppers, really yummy olives, their dressing is freakin awesome, they have this feta cheese crumble mixture that has some kind of red stuff in it.... not sure what it is but dang it's good!! They have a big variety of crackers, too. Now lets get to my favorite part- the yogurt parfait!! Plain light yogurt mixed with tons of fruit including huge grapes, strawberries, and apples. They have oats beside it to sprinkle on top. To-Die-For. For those willing to splurge a bit- they also have a banana pudding that my friend loves and there's some kind of chocolate mousse thing, haven't tried either but my friend says they're good. I say skip that and get the parfait. They also have a couple of different pasta salads, hummus, salsa, and potato salad. I could go on but I think you get the point..... they have the best freakin salad bar ever! They are all over the place, see if there's one near you at www.jasonsdeli.com!
Oh.... another good thing... you get one to go box, one 12oz cup, and one 6oz cup, both with lids, so you can load up enough to have two or three meals!! I use the 12oz cup to load up on parfait and eat it here and there for a few days.

Went to a Jason's today for lunch. I loved it. I got the turkey mediterranean Wrap. I only ate 1/2. Everything is so fresh. Next time I will get the salad bar. You are right. There is wonderful things on that salad bar and everything looked very fresh. Next time I will try the salad bar. I'm just afraid I will take too much. I guess I can take it come. The time after that I will try some soup. Thanks for the recommendation. Linda
I love Jason's Deli!! I really like their chicken salad. I don't know if it is ok to eat post surgery. I made a version of it at home the other day - and I didn't have any problems with it. I used a can of chicken, can of crushed pineapple, couple spoonfuls of low sugar vanilla yogurt. it wasn't quite as good as theirs, but pretty good!
